Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 August 2026
UBOND Services ("UBOND Services", "we", "us" or "our") operates the website www.ubond.in and the UBOND Services customer, technician and admin portals (together, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using our Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Contact details: your name, phone number, and email address, provided when you book a service, sign up, or contact us.
- Service address: the address(es) where a service is to be performed.
- Booking details: the service requested, preferred date/time, and any notes you provide about the issue.
- Account and verification data: when you sign in to the customer or technician portal, we send a one-time 6-digit code to your email to verify it's you. We do not use passwords.
- Technician information: if you register as a technician, we collect your name, phone number, service skills, and service areas.
- Communications: messages you send us via WhatsApp, phone, email, or the contact form.
We do not currently collect or store any payment card details on our systems — service charges are settled directly with the technician (cash/UPI) at the time of service.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account, and to verify your identity via one-time email codes.
- To process and fulfil your service bookings, including assigning a suitably skilled, verified technician.
- To generate the unique start/completion verification codes used to confirm a technician has genuinely arrived and completed your job.
- To communicate with you about your booking, including status updates and support.
- To improve our Services, respond to enquiries, and for internal record-keeping.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:
- With the specific technician assigned to your booking — limited to your name, phone number, and service address — so they can complete the job.
- With service providers who help us operate the Services (for example, database hosting, application hosting, and transactional email delivery), under obligations to protect your data.
- If required by law, regulation, or a valid legal process.
Your account verification codes and booking codes are never shared with a technician directly — a technician can only confirm whether a code you give them is correct, without the underlying system ever exposing the actual code to their account.
4. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward as needed for record-keeping, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 6).
5. Data Security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including row-level access controls that ensure a user can only see data relevant to their own bookings, and encrypted connections between your device and our servers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your Rights
You may contact us at any time to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your account and personal information, subject to any legal retention requirements.
- Withdraw consent to marketing communications.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@ubond.in or call 97257 05784.
7. Cookies
Our website may use basic cookies necessary for the site to function correctly and, where enabled, for analytics to help us understand site usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
8. Children's Privacy
Our Services are intended for use by adults booking home services and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
